The Training Manager , Region Nordics & Benelux develops and facilitates high quality training on disease, product and people development for the commercial organization of the region. This primarily revolves around sales force training interventions for in and out of role development, for all key functions in Benelux & Nordics.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy and Business Development

  • Develop and deliver all initial training programmes, development and other training required by own division and pan-division when requested. Work cross functionally as required. All training to be run within allocated budget

  • Work proactively with Line Manager, Regional Manager and Sales force to identify training needs to maximize impact of training function on business plan achievement

  • Manage performance of all training course delegates, providing written or verbal feedback to sales management and to line manager as necessary. Develop standards or set metrics that are aligned to measure effectiveness of training.

  • Support the implementation of new initiatives within own division as applicable

  • Provide line manager, Regional Management and other key personnel (as required) with timely and regular verbal and written feedback on training activity completed and ongoing

  • Support the talent management and succession planning process for ADC sales function including the identification of high potential and high performing individuals and their in and out of role development to ensure their readiness for key sales positions across

  • To drive a cultural program across Nordics and Benelux aligned with Abbott and Area expectations

  • Create and roll out an onboarding program for all Nordics and Benelux employees with hiring managers.

  • Work with Line Managers to ensure roll out of assessment-and growth plans for key functions in the Nordics and Benelux region

QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor or Master degree with a profound understanding of the Medical Device/ Life Science Industry

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in multinational-multi country environment and knowledge of modern administrative working aids and highly skilled in Office applications

  • Preferred experience in sales and health care

  • High-energy, self-starter that is assertive, possesses a high degree of self-confidence and intellectual curiosity, exhibits a bias for action, and has a high degree of commitment to meeting deadlines and objectives

  • Innovative and creative—pro-active and goal oriented, somebody who knows how to build and maintain relationships

  • Able to prioritize, and take decisions, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under strong timelines in a dynamic environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and quick recall

  • Advanced knowledge of and experience using Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel

  • Fluent in English and Norwegian and preferably a third language (Swedish, Finnish, Dutch, Danish, French)
