Status : Regular, Full Time (4X4 A Shift)
We are currently seeking a Technician Associate for our Ottawa test cartridge manufacturing facility.
• Performs a sequence of operations or tasks where standard procedures or recognized
operational methods are available and/or prescribed. Relies on instructions and
established guidelines to accomplish work.
• Works under regular supervision, in accordance with direction and established work
routine. Matters which deviate from the routine are referred to the supervisor.
• Plans and organizes routine and non-routine tasks according to established objectives and
• Solves problems using technical knowledge and commonly-used concepts, practices and
procedures within a given area or function.
• Communicates ideas and suggestions for improving processes to leadership.
• Understands and complies with Quality and EH&S policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Safeguards the environment and facilitates a safe and healthy workplace culture.
• Other miscellaneous duties as may be required.
Required Education and Experience
College Diploma (2 year program) or equivalent work experience.
Ability to plan, organize and prioritize own daily work to meet established schedule and to multi-task.
Demonstrated initiative, problem-solving and trouble-shooting skills.
Ability to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationship; display socially and professionally appropriate behavior.
Ability to work independently and in groups.
Ability to quickly gain knowledge, understanding or skills and willingness to learn.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma concepts is an asset.
