Identify training needs based on the competency profile for each of the positions within the commercial organization. Conduct field trips with sales personnel to evaluate general skills and training needs.
Plan and coordinate training activities for the LAC countries (mainly country based) for commercial organizations. Identify external or inter-divisional training programs to impact sales and marketing productivity.
Lead and facilitate various programs that promote the education of the ADD LA&C Organization on the use of Abbott products, services & Solutions. Effectively facilitates training programs and ensures information is appropriately communicated and retained by trainee. Position demands 40%-70% field travel within the country.
Provide training for all new hire core sales personnel. Support the established curriculum for the selling/service model across the entire commercial organization. In addition, develops and executes appropriate manager coaching models in support of selling/service skills. Responsible for the training material within the different sales training modules and their implementation in the countries.
Support communication of area marketing strategies and product launches to our sales and marketing people in the countries. Help train sales and marketing personnel on new products or new instrument system launches. Work closely with Global and Area Marketing to develop training messages and materials.
Manage budgeting and administrative functions of training process. Coordinate training logistics.
Aid and Assist in the Commercial Measurement, sales advancement and execution of Learning and Development programs, courses, and participation. Support, Update, and Maintain Area Learning Management System (LMS).
Bachelors Degree required. In addition to local language, English language proficiency required . Demonstrated superior sales, marketing, technical customer service skills in previous assignments. Must be able to work in & influence teams. Diagnostics industry experience preferred.
