The function of a Director, Technical Publications in Regulatory Operations is to plan, direct, coordinate and control the Technical Publication activities related to products worldwide. The individual may direct the development of strategy and organizational structure, optimizing processes and procedures to facilitate global registration and maintenance of product portfolio. The ideal candidate will combine knowledge of scientific, regulatory and business issues to enable products that are developed, manufactured or distributed to meet required legislation. Leads by developing; communicating; and building consensus for goals and programs that support division; business unit and company objectives. ยท The individual will model and enhance a diverse and inclusive culture, as well as develop and supervise project managers and technical writers. The individual may have division level influence and will be considered a key opinion leader and resource at Abbott.


  • Excellent professional communication as well as strong influencing skills
