Responsible for new product launches, including product positioning, go-to-market strategy, and launch execution. In addition, be a brand builder and ambassador. Lead in developing the brand marketing plan, translating the plan into actionable projects, aligning the plan with cross-functional groups and geographies, and establishing metrics to measure execution effectiveness. Champions the multi-channel marketing strategy by creating content for targeted channels and managing channel effectiveness. Contributes to business planning process and ensures global alignment on annual operating plan. Oversees market research that will drive strategic planning and execution. Understands the market needs across various geographies and be a resource for the local marketing teams. Partners with geography marketing teams to ensure flawless plan execution.

Core Job Responsibilities:

  • Leads new product launches

  • Works with cross-functional team and agency to develop product positioning for the new generation product

  • Collaborates with cross-functional team and agency in conducting market research for new product positioning

  • Works with geography teams in developing go-to-market strategy, including key performance indicators, segmentation, account/customer targeting, and messaging

  • Works with demand and supply teams to ensure an appropriate launch forecast

  • Helps train commercial teams on the new product

  • Creates launch materials and tools

  • Collaborates with geography marketing teams to assess market opportunities, gains alignment on key marketing objectives, creates and executes marketing plans

  • Leads recurrent geography calls to discuss ongoing projects and future opportunities

  • Organizes live marketing touch points in order to gain alignment on annual and quarterly plan of actions

  • Works closely with each region to ensure marketing activities are in line with the global strategy

  • Tracks key metrics in each geography to understand whether marketing plans are contributing to the topline; uses metrics to provide insights and adjust marketing plans accordingly

  • Partners with marketing communication and digital marketing teams in creating and executing a multi-channel marketing plan

  • Be the content owner of the plan

  • Appropriately allocates the content and budget to the right channels to increase channel effectiveness

  • Be flexible in plan execution based on trackable channel metrics

  • Contributes to the development of annual operating plan; manages and executes against quarterly plan of actions to maximize share and profitability of the product line

  • Leads market research to better inform the effectiveness of our marketing plan and execution

  • Manages an annual budget by forecasting future needs according to the plan and prioritizing spending among projectsQualifications:Bachelor's Degree required, MBA a plus · healthcare experience – 3 years minimum or equivalent background experience · Marketing experience ideally in brand building - 2 years minimum. · Product launch experience · Project management experience · Excellent written and verbal communication skills · Prefer working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity. This role requires you to work with across functions and departments and influence them without authority. You are at the center of our entire organization, constantly interacting with teammates and prospects. The position requires an understanding of both the technology and capabilities of AV’s products, market and customer dynamics, and functional operations across departments. Must have demonstrated leadership capability and an understanding of the sales process for medical devices.
