Abbott Hematology Sales Specialist in Santiago, Chile
The Hematology Sales Specialist (HSS) will drive the sales effort for Abbott Diagnostics Hematology solutions and related professional services across Latin America and Canada area;
The HSS goal will be generating new and maintaining existing business by driving and supporting the sales process with specific hematology and sales know-how and intelligence with preserving and improving the hematology line of business margin in their region/country.
The customer approach will focus on a "concept sell" ...creating the customer need and helping to define their decision criteria (rather than a lower level "brand sell"; which focuses more on detailing features and benefits).. HSS will utilize a customer assessment to develop strategies and solutions for hematology products to differentiate and create value for the overall Abbott Solution. The HSS will need to be able to develop customer benefit metrics and articulate the value of the Abbott Hematology solution to multiple levels of Abbott’s customer’s organizations.
The HSS will work with all levels of the sales organization to plan and build strategies for positioning optimum hematology solutions to the core laboratories. The HSS will be accountable for meeting a sales goal and expense budget. The HSS will actively participate in the development and execution of the following commercial activities:
Prospecting new Hematology accounts and opportunities
Territory and Account Planning
Strategic Account Management (SAM) Process
Solution Assessment, Design & Positioning
Renew current business
Close new business
