Works closely with Development / Manufacturing / Quality Engineering teams to establish and ensure compliance and quality reliability. Ensure quality of products conform to established standards and agency regulations.
Understands and develops concept of operation for the product/design; applies use model to each design level where appropriate
Familiar with reliability block diagrams and prediction models associated with electronic circuits
Exposure to physics of failure and the associated life models
Ability to produce insights from the application of statistical models to different types of data
Proficient in the presentation and reporting of gathered findings
Works well independently as well as with a cross-functional team
Experience with medical device industry a plus
Familiarity with electronics manufacturing a plus
Exposure to laboratory principles and techniques a plus
Must understand how to assess design induced use conditions and calculate subsequent derating for each component in our application
Must be able to predict longevity/survival of a component based on known use conditions
Must be able to link potential reliability issues to screening strategies
Must be able to link between test specs & hybrid design requirements
Knowledge of de-rating analysis/design margin analysis for electromechanical products
Bachelors Degree - Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical
0 - 2 Years’ Experience:
Strong competency in statistics and expertise in analysis tools such as Excel, Minitab, JMP, Reliasoft (R or Python exposure a plus)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong critical thinking and influencing skills with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
Ability to work with cross-functional and cross-cultural global teams and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment
Ability to leverage and/or engage others to accomplish projects
Multitasks, prioritizes and meets deadlines in timely manner
Strong organizational and follow-up skills, as well as attention to detail
