Abbott Talent Acquisition Manager in Shanghai, China

Major Responsibilities/Activities:

This role will lead the talent acquisition strategy and activities for assigned Abbott China division / functional teams to ensure standardization of talent recruitment policies, procedures, practices, tools, & metrics, as well as deliver the hiring requirement from business. Major areas of responsibility include developing and executing the recruiting strategies and solutions to meet/exceed the business staffing requirements and diversity goals.

  • Ensure recruitment tools and processes are used appropriately and accurately according to global and local guidelines;

  • Conduct recruiting activities according to planning and make sure the recruitment process are fully implemented and followed

  • Fully use the channels and resources like job boards, campus recruitment, websites and other media tools

  • Be responsible for coordinating and communicating with Division Managers and BHR team to understand the staffing needs, as well as business needs to develop the staffing solution, plan, and improve recruiting results (i.e., hiring in alignment with skills, attributes, behavior requirements, process efficiencies)

  • Be responsible for candidates sourcing, screening, phone interviews, recommending qualified candidates for further interviews and hiring manager interview arrangement

  • Make sure all the valuable information are properly filled and make monthly report to the supervisor in time

  • Ensure all employment policies, process and systems are implemented align with entity Guideline, providing assistance in designing and implementing HR Employment procedures, policies, and HR programs

  • Offer delivery and pre-on boarding arrangement

  • Support vendor integrations as needed;

  • Monitor the recruitment system and take corrective action when needed to improve data integrity; ensure all recruitment activities are on the right track in TALEO;

  • Be supportive for special staffing projects

  • Refine search strategy by collecting feedback from Line Managers on candidates presented

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Bachelor degree.

  • Have at least 8 years’ working experience of HR recruiting and staffing in a multinational corporate

  • Have a passion for HR, good planning skills and be detail oriented

  • Strong accountability and ownership. Drive for result

  • Familiar with global recruitment system such as Workday is preferred

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Be an excellent team player capable of building professional relationships

  • Proficiency in oral and written English

  • Good command of computer skills
