Roles & Responsibilities

Sales Reporting and Account Profiling

  • Provide monthly account by account sales reporting and analysis, with trend analysis in relation to sale of products

  • Identify/prioritize key account profiles and develop a key account database to support the business units in identifying accounts with potential (SEATHK)

  • Partner with business units in developing sales strategies that have an incremental impact on Market Share Gains and Operating Income

  • Assist business units with consolidation / analysis of market intelligence information, including market share (SEATHK)

  • Consolidate implant records (tool for management to monitor usage and identify anomalies)

Operating Profit Management

  • Implement and manage reporting to monitor key marketing objectives and programs and product launch effectiveness (SEATHK)

  • Manage the analysis and communication of financial results for divisions and partner with the divisions to achieve their targets

  • Partner with Supply Chain in the management of product rationalization (product phasing) and short UBD inventory to reduce scrap

Distributors Management

  • Consolidate, analyze and track inventory movements (purchase and usage) for key distributors (SEA emerging markets, Taiwan and Korea)

  • Support Country Manager/Distributor Manager in review and preparation of distributor agreements to ensure terms and conditions are consistent with business objectives

  • Monitor distributor agreements to ensure continuity of distributorships to meet market demands

Compliance Support

  • Perform revenue recognition analysis and make adjustments to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls (new revenue recognition policies, primarily for CRM and equipment leverage deals)

  • Provide support to Country Manager/Distributor Manager in coordinating and preparation of legal agreements and review of agreement performance (Equipment Leverage Deals)

  • Support the Capital Expenditure Request (CEA) process

Support for Tender Submissions and Monitoring

  • Analyze tenders compliance from a pricing and supporting documentation perspectives

  • Monitor the tender contracts throughout its lifecycle


  • Become super user in Abbott / SJM sales reporting systems and train and educate relevant staff and management in using the system as decision making tools

  • Support sales team in the handling and documentation of customer complaints according to Abbott / SJM Field Event Reporting Standard Operating Procedure (assist and monitor FER reporting)

  • Support in preparation of presentations for Business Reviews (SEATHK)


  • Graduate in Finance/Accounting with ACCA or CPA is preferred

  • Must have at least 7-10 years of experience in Financial Analysis, Reporting, Planning

  • Experience in healthcare industry is highly preferred

  • Have experience in covering multiple countries in APAC is advantageous

  • Good Communication and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge in Tender submissions and monitoring is valuable
