Abbott Product Manager, Korea & ASEAN (Point of Care Diagnostics) in Singapore, Singapore
Purpose / Key Responsibilities:
Defining segment opportunity, TAM and key business drivers.
Analyzing sales, market and competitive data to develop strategy.
Developing area-specific segment marketing plans.
Together with Area and Global colleagues, developing programs and campaigns.
Monitoring, measuring and reporting progress against defined execution goals.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the segment. Support the commercial organizations in achieving Plan/IBP objectives.
Provides direction and input to all in-house groups such as sales, marketing, service, finance that affect the successful achievement of business objectives.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Establish marketing strategy in line with regional growth and prioritization
Generate ideas and concepts to increase awareness, usage and product values
Support internal development and implementation of new product benefits and service enhancements including product launch plans
Develop unique selling proposition and F&Bs of APOC product
Perform product demos to customers
Define the product strategy and roadmap
Be a product champion and closely monitor competition activities
Manage product configurations and client set-ups, including resolution of competitive issues between Clients and participating distributor
Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
Develop and maintain a product competitive analysis
Participate in the development and delivery of ideas for product enhancements
Develop sales tools and collateral
Propose an overall budget to drive KOL engagements and marketing initiatives in line with regional needs
Brief and train the sales force on products at monthly/ quarterly/ yearly sales meetings (if required)
Support Marketing Director to translate global marketing strategies into regional strategies and subsequently local go to market plan
Support regional team to collect and evaluate information in the market including competitors and competitive products
Monitor and communicate product key performance indicators
Part of the role requires execution of tactical marketing in Korea and ASEAN countries.

Requisite Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor degree in pharmacy, life sciences, nursing or related technical discipline. MBA and clinical experience are desired.
The position requires an understanding of both the technology and capabilities of Point of Care products, Korea & ASEAN market and customer dynamics, and functional operations across departments
Must have demonstrated leadership capabilities
Knowledge of regulations and standards affecting IVDs
Knowledge of the Point of Care segment is highly desirable
Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
Highly motivated and adaptable with great attention to detail
Leadership: Desire and ability to lead the organization to ensure goals achievement.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation/communication skills in English is a must.
Deep understanding of the complexities of diagnostics market and customer needs
Ability to develop, rationalize, and present strategy
Strong analytical and computer skills, with working knowledge of financial models
Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and resourcefulness
Experience in managing direct and distributors territory marketing
