Abbott Territory Manager - Structural Heart - SW in Solihull, United Kingdom

As a Territory Manager within our Structural intervention division, covering the South West of England, inclusive of accounts in Birmingham down to Southampton you will provide

primary Sales + Clinical Support input at a Territory level to your customer base and you will be ideally located along the M4 corridor (Birmingham - Oxford).

Main responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement Account Plans, to routinely exceed annual operating plan revenues, working at all times in accordance with Abbott UK policies and procedures including the Abbott Code of Business Conduct

  • Liaise closely with Sales Manager and other sales team members as appropriate to plan activities at Account level that should achieve the overall sales quota required from the Territory.

  • Manage customer relationships and provide service to optimise continuing profitable sales revenues from existing Accounts while also developing market penetration strategies to establish new Accounts within the assigned Territory

  • Provide technical and therapy knowledge (promoting clinical compliance with guidelines and evidence based medicine) assistance whenever requested by healthcare professionals in assigned Accounts, or by Abbott UK staff.

What you'll need:

  • A degree in life sciences or equivalent OR

  • Experience of the Interventional Cardiology market

  • Several years’ experience in Complex Medical Device sales, requiring high level clinical engagement and support

  • Autonomous to operate within the hospital sales environment

  • Experience in negotiating with procurement managers

  • Demonstrated strong track record of sales performance

  • Negotiation skills, commercial acumen, analytical business developer
