Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC), with its amazing product Freestyle Libre, is a US$1.4B division of Abbott that helps people living with diabetes make progress in achieving glycemic control.

For this rapidly growing division, we are currently looking for a Product Manager Sweden and Finland, reporting into the General Manager Sweden and Finland. This person will be responsible for managing the Swedish and Finnish product team including three direct reports in Finland and Sweden and holds budget responsibility for the Swedish and Finnish marketing budget including ROI models

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILTIIES

  • Understand the customer and the consumer: Be familiar with the key customer and consumer needs in the diabetes management space.

  • Building up close collaboration with KOL in both Sweden and Finland : Be responsible for building up a network of KOL in both countries as well as creating and be responsible running local ad board meetings in both countries together with CM and MA functions.

  • Close collaboration with Nordic marketing and Market Access team to facilitate as well as implement product and service strategies to develop customer satisfaction and brand loyalty.

  • Marketing program implementation : Drive the implementation of the local HCP and DTC marketing programs in close cooperation with ADC Nordic Marketing, ensuring buy in from sales organizations prior to roll out. Programs must be focused on target patients or HCP groups and utilize the appropriate channel type to engage HCP,s and consumers and maintain a compelling two way dialogue to ensure business retention.

  • DTC infrastructure development: Recommend to the organization regarding the use of paid & own media including the identification of appropriate media (online, social networking, call center involvement, database management, Instore TV and print and advertising as appropriate.

  • Value proposition: Assist in creating a proprietary consumer loyalty program or developing a service that achieves the goal of increasing sensor activation and consumer retention through use of a clear pull strategy. Lead the execution of the agreed value proposition working closely with ADC Nordic marketing, CM, MA and customer service functions and external agencies as appropriate.

  • Campaign development: Manage the development of HCP and consumer direct marketing campaigns for Swe and Finland as main markets. Ensure buy in from local affiliates and on time delivery of approved materials.

  • Market research: Manage specific market research projects. Ensure findings are expressed as clear recommendations and communicated to key stakeholders.

  • Strategic planning: Assist in the development of the Nordic marketing plan in cooperation with Nordic Marketing Manager and CM as well as MA managers.

  • Metrics: Undertake campaign effectiveness monitoring with market research as necessary to understand the return on investment of key initiatives.

  • Budget: Have full budget responsibility of the designated A/P budget for Sweden and Finland. Responsibility for projects as appropriate ensuring they are maintained with spending limits.

  • External relations: Participating and but also including planning regional ADC and external congresses (FEND, SFD, SFSD etc). Involving.

DESIRED PROFILE

  • Should preferably have appropriate university degree or equal in Marketing/ Business

  • Experience from pharmaceutical industry as well as several years of experience working in marketing and Sales (preferably in several positions).

  • Should possess good commercial awareness, interest in building the business, proper leadership, teamwork and capable of working in efficiently in an international environment.

  • Experienced being in charge of building and executing long and short time projects with different stakeholders internally and externally.

  • Fluent in Swedish and English both oral and written

  • Expert skills in Power Point and overall good computer skills.
