Abbott Diabetes Care is an innovative and vastly growing Medical Devices Division with a strong footprint in Nordics & Benelux due to its strong products such as the Freestyle Libre.
Due to the increase in market share in an increasingly complex area, we are now looking to grow our team further with a Specialist District Sales and will cover the area of Västra Götaland.
Primary Objective of Position
Represent Abbott Scandinavia AB to customers
Ensure and maximize sales of Abbott Diabetes Care products
Share best practice with sales and marketing team
Develop relations and keep close contacts with target customers
Identify and meet customers’ needs
Ensure high quality customer activities
Ensure customer recalls core product message
Achieve individual and team goals
Achieve sales and market-share goals
Achieve customer visit quantity goals
Achieve customer targeting goals
Achieve frequency on target customer’s goals
Report trends and key results from discussions and activities with customers to sales and marketing team
Report visits in call reporting system on a timely basis
Deliver expense report, etc. on a timely basis
Continuously look out for competitors and their activities and report to sales and marketing team
Participate in quarterly team-meeting in order to discuss market assumptions and competitive activities
Work in accordance with Abbott’s vision and core values
Work in accordance with Abbott’s “business code of conduct”
Work in accordance with local rules and regulations
Work in accordance with Affiliate Compliance Committee (ACC) Policy
Work in accordance with Class A procedures
Adapt to internal and external changes i.e. district changes
Continuously work with PEX; Impact goals and Growth Plan
Technical or science education or equivalent work experience to understand the complexity of the products as well as the customer needs is to prefer.
Completed Swedish or equal secondary education School.
Computer skills including word processing, presentation and spreadsheet software.
Documented selling skills.
Impact of position
- The District Sales Specialist is accountable for all customers in his or her district. The person is responsible together with Field Force Training Manager, Commercial Manager NMT team to provide value to the customers to ensure market growth and minimizing retention lose.
