An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Marketing Associate within our highly successful Endovascular team.

The main aspects of this role include:

  • Collate basic sales and marketing information by feedback from reps, Business unit manager, regional sales managers.

  • Liaise with agencies, selected customers and venue booking offices as directed.

  • Assist in the preparation and initial drafts of product presentations and proposals, of advertising campaigns and merchandising proposals, and of sales forecasts and budgets.

  • Provide administrative support as appropriate.

  • Inventory liaison and involvement where necessary.

  • Manage the key brand activities from brief through to execution based on yearly marketing plans (as assigned)

  • Manage timelines to ensure on time and on budget delivery.

  • Support Product manager in cross functional initiatives including development of program content.

  • Participate in the development of collateral for use by Sales Representatives when dealing with Health Care Professionals (HCPs) as required.

  • Participate in managing marketing material development, execution and distribution to ensure salesforce have tools required to proactively drive sales.

  • Work with Product Manager and local creative and production agencies to develop communications assets.

  • Work with internal Regulatory Affairs to ensure that all collateral is approved for use in the local market.

  • Manage the internal Promotional materials review and approval process.

  • Source suitable ‘best practice’ materials from other Abbott affiliates and modify to suit local market and regulatory conditions.

  • Help develop and coordinate marketing strategy for targeted accounts to ensure positive sales outcome.

  • Participate in the development of marketing objectives

  • Implement marketing activities as directed by the Product Manager

  • Update and maintain information systems, databases, records, files and confidential documents, taking into consideration company policies, compliance and audit procedures

  • Assist in the preparation of meetings, training courses and conferences as required

  • Communicate effectively at all levels both internal and external, maintaining confidentiality and creating a positive image for the company at all times

  • Review incoming correspondence, dispatching material to appropriate personnel

In addition to the above, the relevant experience is required:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing/ Business discipline or equivalent.

  • Appropriate training in Secretarial and administrative duties

  • Minimum of 2 years secretarial experience in a corporate environment.
