An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Supply Chain Manager to support our Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for product supply planning and execution, inbound logistics and procurement from 3rd parties, managing Opex, inbound freight and scrap costs within target levels.
The main aspects of this role include:
Manage & maintain Inventory levels to achieve the DIOH & Service level targets established by the business.
Develop and execute strategies to minimise expired and obsolete inventory. Identify future risk, fix root causes and take action to avoid cost. Prepare and publish expiring and low UBD reports for action by the business.
Maintain the integrity of the business inventory systems and validation programs.
Provide resolution for all supply issues. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers including sales management, product management, territory management, customer service, quality and regulatory affairs.
Provide support to the sales and marketing teams in inventory analysis and optimisation of stock levels through consignment management, product launches, recalls and swap outs.
Development of all reporting required for comprehensive review on inventory management performance across Australia and New Zealand for product portfolio
Manage relationship with 3rd party suppliers, inbound freight providers and customs agents. Including price negotiations, SLA management and annual reviews. Ensure costs are in line with budget levels.
Attend regional S&OP meetings with global planning stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with global customs and trade requirements
Assessing the current planning processes and implementing improvements where necessary
In addition to the above, the relevant experience is required:
Tertiary qualification in supply chain or business related discipline
APIC's qualification preferred.
Minimum 3 year experience in similar role ideally in global healthcare organization.
Extensive SAP MM, Purchasing, APO, SNP experience.
Advanced Excel and MS Office
Experience in use of Business Objects reporting or similar
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
