Abbott Key Hospital Account Specialist in Taguig City, Philippines
The Key Hospital Account Specialist is responsible in driving hospital leadership and building the Abbott Vascular products in key hospital accounts by developing a strategy and action plan that creates awareness, builds strong ties and good lasting relationship with key decision makers in hospitals. He/She is responsible in achieving the sales goals and objectives of the Abbott Vascular Division in the Philippines and translating the sales and commercial strategies into good executions in his/her assigned territory. To aid the achievement of customer satisfaction and business growth through focused account coverage.

Key Areas of Accountability:
1) Assist sales and marketing functions to segment and identify target hospitals; develop strategy and action plan to list Abbott Vascular products in key hospitals.
Analyze data for hospital segmentation
Collect sales force’s input for selecting right targets
Collect and standardize key hospital listing process
Build execution plan for new listing implementation
Identify key success factors in hospital execution
Initiate the flagship hospitals and best practice sharing system
2) Work closely with sales team to initiate and implement key hospital listing process. Track key hospitals performance monthly, drive best practice sharing. Develop new tools with other function to enhance key hospital listing process.
In coordination with the Business Manager, work with the sales team to implement listing process at local level
Track listing process on a monthly basis and provide report to management
Collect best practice from each region and share with sales team to improve efficiency
Gather feedback from sales team and work with marketing and other functions to develop related tools
3) Visit and own his/her key hospitals. Build relationship with key decision makers to complete these hospitals’ listing process.
4) Achieve own target hospital list and complete listing process as per agreed timeline with the Business Manager.
Develop an in depth knowledge of the products and services provided by the division leading to achievement of sales goals.
Visit customers and / or potential customers on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, as agreed with the Business Manager.
Manage existing and acquire new customers in the assigned territory.
Plan and develop an actionable market strategy for existing and new Abbott Vascular products in accordance with the divisional goals and objectives, through execution, while optimizingopportunities through use of available tools (consignment etc.).
Provide continuous technical training and support to customers directly in the cathlabs to ensure functional awareness of Abbott Vascular products and to keep them abreast on any change in functionality or product features
Focal person for hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff for any major concerns or inquiries related to Abbott Vascular products and services.
Responsible in promotingAbbott products and services through marketing forums.
Provide an analytical business report on business performance by using all available support and marketing tools.
Knowledge & Experience:
2-3 years Sales experience with good business acumen on medical device industry or equivalent skills is an advantage .
With understanding of regulatory policy and guidelines applied to the hospital accounts.
With good planning, data analysis and problem-solving skills
Aggressive, confident and self-motivated with leadership potentials
Persuasive, persevering and a team player
With strong selling & communication skills
Good command of computer skills in MS Office
Able to travel nationwide frequently
Bachelor’s Degree in business or a para-medical course.
