Business Controller Finland & Baltics

About the position and the team:

The region North Scandinavia Controlling team is responsible for the timely availability of business reports and analyses. The team advises and supports the management in optimizing the operating results. In the role of Business Controller you will be an important business partner for the Finland and Baltics management team and a financial advisor in taking business decisions. You will direct report to the Regional Controller Europe North.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Prepare, analyze and comment on Revenue/OPEX/Margin/Head count reports and Market share for the local Management

  • Create ad hoc analysis and prepare analysis requested by the North European office;

  • Support in building business cases and the month closing process;

  • Create follow up reports which supports the business;

  • Prepare budgets (Latest Best Estimates, LBE), outlooks and business plans based on assumptions developed by the Management and propose actively efficiencies in these processes;

  • Update budget systems and run reports from Business Intelligence systems.

Education/ work experience

  • Bachelor or similar master in degree in Economy;

  • 3-5 years of work experience in a Business Controller position

Requirements

  • Fluent in English both written and spoken;

  • Very strong skills in Excel;

  • Preferable experience in MS programs, software accounting packages as SAP and other IT applications such as Dodeca and PULS;

  • Strong teamwork and facilitation – Listens actively and responds constructively to needs and views of others

  • Delivery –gets the job done, meets or exceeds expectations and exhibits a sense of urgency on critical time dependent issues

  • Persist despite obstacles and opposition and can prioritize;

  • Self – drive – to identify, initiate and implement projects independently

  • Positive reaction to working in a “deadline” environment

  • Sense of initiative and adaptability to a permanently evolving organization
