We are looking for a new colleague to join our Field Service Team in Abbott Molecular in Belgium .
Field Service Specialist Belgium
Primary objective of the position
The Field Service Specialist is responsible for providing level one and two support to our customers. After an extensive period of training you will become a full member of the service team and you will participate in our duty system of Field Services Specialist. You will execute this by handling installations, conducting repair and instrument hardware or software upgrades. You operate in a service team, where teamwork is important.
Provide first line on site technical support to AMD customers (Repairs).
Schedule and perform planned maintenance (PM) activities.
Schedule and perform instrument installations and de-installations.
Success in this role is measured by customer satisfaction score (NPS), service key performance indicators achievement and economic growth and profitability per territory.
Educational background and Work Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required. Bachelors / Engineering degree in biomedical / electrical / mechatronic or medical technology is preferred.
Proven track record as a technical specialist or a field service engineer in our industry or equivalent significant working experience in a similar position.
Successful engagement with customers, specifically key stakeholders and lab staff.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Dutch and French.
Excellent experience in use of analytical tools and software.
