ADC i s currently looking for a Manager KOL Liaison & Product Training (m/f/d).
Supports and executes Abbott Diabetes Care’s KOL engagement and product training work stream
Position will interact with key stakeholders of the provider / payer community providing training and scientific advice (in label only) on the use of existing and new Abbott Diabetes Care monitoring solutions.
Serve as subject matter expert in patient practice / patient management. Provide product training support for the commercial organization.
Establish partnerships/consulting arrangements with key medical leaders in the field of diabetes to support business needs.
Position reports to the General Manager and interacts closely with in country senior staff (director medical affairs, director market access & director sales) and regional commercial leadership.
Executes on ADC’s product training activities (in label) and owns training. Build supporting evidence-based product argumentation for in-label use of Abbott products based on published data.
Partner with relevant global / AREA functions to drive educational activities in alliance with medical team / marketing team.
Build trusted and strategic relationships with the national & regional KOLs in diabetes care: identify partnering opportunities and joint projects for in label product training & information (organisation, concept & content development, execution / project management, hosting / presenting)
Represent ADC interests in regional medical /industry/governmental organizations.
Be a subject matter expert in HTA (health technology assessment) and EbM (evidence-based medicine) and its recommendations on Blood Glucose Monitoring (BGM) and Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) to support market access in reimbursement negotiations (in label argumentation).
Relevant scientific / medical / educational science background
Hands-on experience in the management of patient with diabetes (e.g. diabetes educator)
Experience in working with / presenting of scientific data.
Project management experience.
Public speaking experience and good English language skills. Fluent in German.
Background in evidence-based medicine and / or public and / or competitive effectiveness research.
Strong scientific foundation and track record in research / training & education.
Team oriented with the confidence, maturity and integrity to work effectively as a member of one of the top companies in the medical device industry, with customers and suppliers.
High personal integrity and ethics required
Excellent communication / organization skills required. Comfortable in managing public events and speaking in public.
Results and Action Oriented - Driven to excel and capable of inspiring others to excellence as well. Accepts the accountability for results of the team and provides clear direction with input from others.
