Abbott Diagnostics Division is looking for a Manager Validation (m/f) based in Wiesbaden.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Validation and Data Integrity on site level

  • Provide Quality support for execution of validation / qualification activities according to schedule and priorities

  • Support the Quality Subsystem SME (PPC) in analysis and continuous improvement of quality subsystem globally.

  • Establish and maintain performance metrics and tracking systems for management updates

  • Continuous consideration of process improvements and implementation

  • Manage and develop quality teams

  • Priority and Resource Management within team

  • Plans and manages budget and resources

  • Identifies and elevates potential quality issues

  • Presentation to internal and external customers

  • Representative for internal and external audits

Your Profile:

  • Degree in science (MSc, PhD) or adequate work experience in regulated industry

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in a quality function in regulated industry (IVD, Medical Devices, Pharmaceuticals)

  • Minimum of 10 years leadership expirience

  • Strong experience in Validation/Qualification and computerized systems

  • Strong experience in analytical and/or microbiological testing

  • Experienced in regulatory agency inspections, preferrabaly FDA

  • Strong communication and organization skills

  • Good English language and negotiation skills
