Abbott Point of Care (APOC) is looking for a
Senior Financial Analyst, Europe FP&A (m/f),
based in Wiesbaden.
The position holder will be providing day to day financial support to the Europe Area Commercial team via financial analysis as well as business decision support. This position will report to the APOC Europe Area Controller and will work closely with APOC Int’l HQ and country commercial team.
Assist with FP&A Process within Area including:
Preparation of all scheduled POC planning activities working with country commercial leaders and APOC Int’l HQ (such as the creation and distribution of all templates, schedules, instructions, guidelines and calendars)
Prepare and consolidate Financial forecasts (Plan/LBE/S&OP/Adhocs)
Prepare Margin Risk and Contingency analysis
Bring numbers to life
Prepare monthly management reporting, including robust analysis of actual results versus various benchmarks and at various currency exchange rates
Present financial information into clear and concise value added analysis
Provide pricing guidance on commercial deals to ensure financial objectives are met and risk is minimized
Streamline processes to provide timely and meaningful financial information to both Europe GM, Europe country leaders, and Europe Area Controller
Collaborates with other divisional FP&A and IFO teams for establishment of local processes and overall financial reporting
Establish and maintain a strong system of internal financial controls
Effectively manages communication with and understand cultural differences of the affiliates to ensure alignment with Division and Corporate expectations
Comply with the company’s policies and procedures to meet statutory, quality and business requirements within the overall strategy and objectives of Abbott Point of Care and Abbott Laboratories
A minimum of 5 years of finance/accounting experience; prior business partnering and commercial FP&A experience preferred
Customer oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Can do personality with positive attitude, flexibility, and adaptability
Highly collaborative; Team player within a Matrix organization
Technically savvy – HFM, SAP, MS Excel, Cognos/BI tools etc.
Fluent in English - fluency in a second language a plus
Prior experience in a fast-paced environment / global organization experience
