Abbott Diagnostics Division is looking for a
Senior Financial Analyst (m/f)
for the Europe & Middle East Finance Department based in Wiesbaden.
Responsibilities may include:
Consolidation and analysis of forecasts, plans and/or LRPs
Preparation of planning and forecasting schedules
Variance analysis of actual results vs. benchmarks
Communication with countries to understand trends, variances and key risks / opportunities
Preparation of ad hoc analyses to support management business decisions
Analyses and reports must be timely, accurate and insightful, thereby enabling senior management to understand results and/or make planning decisions
Will be recognized as knowledgeable in the ADD business; expected to help coach and train more junior analysts
Lead projects and supervise the work of less experienced staff
Work directly on reports or projects with senior management team
Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance/Accounting. Preferably MBA or certified accountant
REQUIREMENTS / WORK EXPERIENCE
3 to 5 years of financial experience beyond university degree
Strong business partner attitude to work with the countries
High result and process improvement orientation
Adapts quickly and learns new tasks independently
Strong organizational and management skills
Setspriorities and organizes work to meet strict deadlines
Strong analytical skills
Good communications skills, both verbal and written
Additional languages are a plus
Advanced MS Office knowledge; database knowledge preferred (SAP, Hyperion)
